Who Can Join the Club
We invite anyone that is a beekeeper, interested in becoming a beekeeper, or simply interested in bees, to join the club. Whether you have 1 or 2 hives or several, or none, you will find the club a great place to meet fellow beekeepers and learn about the world of bees and beekeeping.
Benefits of Joining the Club
The NCBA meets monthly to discuss topics relevant to beekeeping. Our programs include hive management, honey bee pests and diseases, swarm control, plants and pollination and much more. In addition we often show movies related to beekeeping. We also have a raffle table and several door prizes each month. Other benefits to joining the club are volume discounts on bee packages & nucs, bee equipment, glassware and other bee related products. We also have a member forum where you can post questions and answers. In addition you have over 40 years of beekeeping experience from our members. We also offer "Bee School". The classes run 8-10 weeks and will prepare you for becoming a full-fledged beekeeper. The school is run in the winter from February to April. We also publish a monthly newsletter.
